Do not buy any Smart TV especially one that has Roku app. Their site is down, their customer service sucks, they refuse to even help to set up your TV or even to plug in your four digit code. This is what happens when apps such as HULU wants you to reset your TV. I have a Roku Stick and it sucks, sucks sucks.
I was on chat last night for over 2.5 hours trying to login to Paramount+ a subscription I've purchased thru Roku! Three different agents could not figure out why. They all told me to contact Paramount+ for further assistance. I called Paramount+ they had no record of Roku reporting paid subscriptions to them. I contacted Roku back and no one would respond to my question! Paramount+ open an account on my behalf with a discount for month!

Do NOT buy a roku device directly from roku, Buy it from Amazon. at least then you can return it if there is a problem with the device or if it’s not what you thought you were ordering. If you buy from Roku and there is a problem with your device it takes an act of God to try to return it and then they only give you credit for one item if you returned two. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. I ordered one device and tried to cancel within five minutes and was told I could not. Then they didn’t ship it for over two weeks. I had to pay for the shipping to return the item back to them. If you are fortunate enough to speak to a human being they will tell you they will get back to you about the matter and they never do. One time they forwarded me to a site and wanted me to pay $29.95 a month for Customerservice immediate access. One of my devices quit working within weeks of receipt and I can’t reach anyone to try to deal with it and it’s not worth spending hours on the phone or computer trying to reach someone who won’t help you anyway. I’m just buying a new device through Amazon.
I have to set up my ROKU many times a day. I have to wait for it to reboot and then I have to go to my email to reset it. I usually have to do this four or five times. I have asked customer service but I only get auto responses. IT IS THE WORST
This product is garbage, please do not waste your hard earned money on this junk.
This is ridiculous I ordered a remote for my bedroom tv and your company sent me one that looks nothing like the one I have. It doesn’t work at all for my tv, it looks like the one from my old tv. I also have an issue with the fact that I cannot reach a human about this, the recording said unless it was a billing question they wouldn’t help me and then the recording said goodbye and hung up on me. I purchased this remote and was ripped off. I will start buying a different brand of tv, I have 4 Roku TV’s but I will not buy another one, I believe customers deserve actual customer service.
Unless you write down exactly how, where you started watching a show & have to stop for a bit, good luck finding that show again! I spend more time searching on RoFU than I do actually watching shows/movies, etc.
Always double charging for service always makes customers go thru so much to prove the customers are wrong never work with customers plus always have to email never can talk to a real person had to have bank investigate the suspicious charges from Roku on account that made the bank account shut down plus always going out the service will be going elsewhere for tv service very dissatisfied
This company is horrible. They push untested software updates which break TVs, then they act like they don't know what's happening. You can't opt out of updates (like you can with Android TV). You can't go back to a prior version that worked for you (like you can with Android TV). If/when it happens to you, you're out of luck.
People go to the support forum, and Roku acts like it's the first time they've heard of the problem. They blame the TV manufacturers. When asked how a manufacturer caused Roku's update to be buggy, they have no answer. When the next person reports the same problem, Roku acts like they've never heard of it before.
To me, that was the most stunning thing I've ever seen. I can understand companies have bad support. But, this is outright DISHONEST. I don't see how those employees can go to work in the morning knowing that they're lying to people. It's a very corrupt company who doesn't care about customers. (In fact, IMO, Roku doesn't think of you as a customer. You are the product being sold to content providers. First and foremost, that's your relationship to Roku. Not a customer who spent big dollars on a TV. If Roku breaks your tv, they don't care. Absolutey, 100%, they do not care.
I have been asking them how to remove the low battery warning, and all I seem to get are Bot answers about using a new remote or the app.
I DO NOT want to use the app, as I listen through my headphones.
They have to have, the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Completely and utterly useless.
Unbelievable!!! Roku really does suck!! I’m always having to sign back in to my tv provider, always, every other night!! Useless,,, I’m going back to cable for all my houses

I own 4 Roku devices. 2 Ultra and 2 sticks. 1 of the Ultra's has had connection issues since I hooked it up. Constantly disconnecting, going back to the home screen. Customer Service is non-existent! After close to 7 months of back and forth they agreed to replace the device. First they said they would send a replacement then they changed and said they wouldn't send a replacement until the received my old device. In their email they specifically stated the replacement device would be sent within 1 business day of receipt. It's been 6 days and the replacement device still hasn't been sent! They don't stand behind their products and customer service is awful!
Roku Questions & Answers

One of the first questions asked is which language you would like to use. Usually set to English as default. I would suggest you do a factory reset if you are stuck or contact customer service.
